In 2020, he auditioned at the Apollo Theatre in New York and was invited to be part of the Spring season of "Amateur Night At The Apollo." Matt has performed across the United States, including a "Coast To Coast" tour in 2022, with the goal of "sharing his music, so that it might help someone, the way it did for me growing up." Influenced by artists like Jason Mraz, Miles Davis, George Winston, Joe Bonamassa, and more, Matt works to offer a variety of genres, ensuring "something there for everyone." During his free time between writing, recording, and performing, he serves as a bartender, Brewmaster apprentice, and Taproom Manager at Black Creek Brewery in North Carolina.
